Local Products & Food

Local products are available in many local communities in the Hong Kong Geopark, in the form of farm products, snacks and traditional cuisine. These local products help enrich visitors’ experience and promote the sustainable development of the local economy. One example is the traditional Hakka cuisine available in Kat O, which typifies the characteristics of the local food culture. The farmer’s market which is held from 10:30am to 15:30pm on the first Sunday of each month at Lai Chi Wo is the best way of getting local products and specialties there.
